Solidarity golf tournament puts 13 nationalities together
Chilli Boy Charity gave the Algarve Oncological Association the largest donation ever raised in favor of this institution. In total, 18,451 euros were raised to help this Association whose main objective is to provide social and human support to cancer patients through the promotion of all necessary steps for their integration into the community.
During an official ceremony held on July 4th at the Benamor Golf Course, Tavira, the founder and president of the Algarve Oncological Association, Maria de Lurdes Pereira, received Viv Thomas's check from this donation.
The value was donated by the participants of the "Chilli Boy Golf Challenge" golf tournament, which this year took place in South Africa and brought together players from 13 nationalities, some of whom have already suffered from cancer problems. Already last year, which took place in the Vilamoura area, this tournament had managed to collect 5,780 euros to deliver to this social solidarity institution.
